Research Portfolio Workshop (RPW)
The RPW is a deeper dive into scholarship and research. It is open to all faculty who seek to work on their research/scholarship. This workshop is strongly encouraged for full-time faculty who have just completed their first semester or year (pre-mid-tenure) and need to develop their research plan. It is also for those who have not done research but want to get started but need some assistance to begin.
- RPW is held in the summer as a 3 day in-person event with a mentor faculty member.
- You may register for the Zoom sessions only (no mentor) to learn about various topics related to research/scholarship.
- Sample agenda:
- Day 1: Session on how to get started on your research; group work.
- Day 2: Sessions on external evaluators and collaborations; group work.
- Day 3: Sessions on timeline/guidelines, grants, conferences, op-eds; group work.
