Tony Corsitto is the Associate Director for First Year Experience on the NYC campus at Pace and also serves as a First Year Advisor for the Lubin School of Business. He began his career in higher education as an Academic Advisor and coordinator of the CUNY pathways initiative at Queens College. He transitioned to Pace in 2012 as an Academic Advisor for the Pace Plus Program. During his tenor, Tony has worked on developing a First Year Experience for incoming students that encapsulates all aspects of the Pace Path. Tony received a B.A. in Psychology and dual minors in Students Services and Counseling/Anthropology from Queens College. He then went on to earn his M.S.Ed. in Higher Education Administration at Baruch College. As a strong supporter of student development theory, Tony believes that the correct amount of challenge and support is crucial for students to achieve their academic and career goals in an ever-changing environment. He has taught over 60 sections of UNV 101, Pace’s first year seminar course. In his free time, Tony enjoys going to the movies, watching/attending sports events, and going to the gym.
