Aliyah Poinsette is a First-Year Advisor and she supports students in navigating their academic journey, adjusting to campus life, and achieving their personal goals. She earned her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from The College of Saint Rose and brings extensive experience working with students of all ages, from high school through adulthood. With a background in both counseling and higher education, Aliyah is committed to fostering student growth, building confidence, and creating a supportive environment where every student can thrive. Outside of work, she enjoys going to Mets games, attending concerts, and spending time with friends.
